Weren't you ever afraid of growing old?

Growing old is something that most of us try to avoid, but once you reach that certain level of understanding, embracing it is what we should do...

It's very simple, as you grow old, you learn more, if you stayed at 22, you would be as ignorant as you were at 22. Aging is not decay, its growth. Being a pessimist, its knowing that you'r going to die, being a optimist, its that you understand you'r going to die, and you live a better life because of it....

People who always say "oh, how i wish i was young again".... This reflects unsatisfied lives, unfulfilled lives, lives that hasn't found meaning. Because if you found meaning in your life, you don't want to go back. You want to go forward, you want to learn more. If you are always battling about getting older, you are always going to be unhappy, because it will happen anyhow...

I didn't use to think like this, maybe its got to do with the age. But i'm not that old too.. Heck, i'm not even in my thirties. But growing up in this world, having experienced love, lost, death, failures & successes... its just part and parcel of life.

Every step of life teaches you something. You learn. Even though life has not been fair to you.. You learn. Even though you lost the love of your life.. You learn. Even when you found the love of your life.. You learn.

I EMBRACE aging...
